At this point, your family may start to question your sanity! The f/5 focal ratio on a mirror this big is outrageous. No Paracorr needed on this baby. People approaching at a star party can only say "OH MY GOSH!". Everything about this scope is giant. Big 2" truss poles (the other guys use 1.5"), big 13" tires, big 10' ladder, big 27 point aluminum mirror cell and a light shroud the size of a small tent. One fit person can move this scope by themselves a short distance. Leave it assembled in the garage and roll it out for instant use. Disassembled, it fits under the cap of any tall (48" opening) fiberglass pickup truck shell. A 10' ladder is required for viewing at zenith and assembly.
